🔌 Key Features
Category 6 Standard: Designed to meet Cat6 performance requirements for Ethernet networking with higher bandwidth and reduced interference compared to Cat5e.
Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP): No shielding, suitable for typical indoor networking in home or office environments.
Pure Copper Conductors: Solid copper wires (e.g., AWG 23–24) provide reliable electrical performance and support high-speed data transmission.
4 Twisted Pairs: Eight individual conductors arranged in four twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk and signal loss.
Bandwidth & Speed:
• Supports up to 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps) speeds and frequencies up to 250 MHz (typical for Cat6).
• Data rates depend on network equipment capabilities and total cable length.
RJ45 Compatible: Works with standard RJ45 connectors and network hardware (routers, switches, NICs, etc.).
Indoor Use: Designed for indoor installations with PVC jacket (complies with RoHS/REACH), protecting the cable and meeting fire-safety ratings suitable for most indoor cabling setups.
🧱 Physical & Performance Specs (Typical for LC3100B)
(Note: specs shown are for the bulk cable, and 1 m pieces will follow the same properties)
Conductor Gauge: ~AWG 24 (around 0.52–0.57 mm).
Insulation: HDPE (high-density polyethylene) around each conductor pair.
Cable Diameter: ~5.8 – 6.2 mm overall jacket.
Temperature Range: Typically -20 °C to +60 °C operating.
Rip-cord: Bulk cable includes a rip cord for easier jacket removal during termination.
📍 Typical Uses
✔ Home or office LAN wiring
✔ Patch cables between network devices
✔ Connecting cameras, switches, routers, access points
✔ Structured cabling runs (when cut and terminated properly)
📌 Important Notes
A 1 m length is usually sold pre-terminated (with RJ45 plugs) or cut from the bulk cable roll (CAB-LC3100B model).
Genuine Cat6 Full Copper ensures better performance and PoE (Power over Ethernet) compatibility than cheaper CCA alternatives.
